LIQUID SOAP PROJECT

๐Ÿงผ Liquid Soap Making Project

Empowering Families Through Skills & Sustainability

At Lights of Kazinga Orphanage, our Liquid Soap Making Project is a practical community empowerment initiative designed to create income opportunities while promoting hygiene and self-reliance.

Located near Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda, this project trains youth, single mothers, and vulnerable community members in the production of affordable, high-quality liquid soap for household and commercial use.

๐ŸŒ Why This Project Matters

Access to hygiene products is essential for health and dignity. Through this initiative, we:

โœ” Train local women and youth in soap production skills
โœ” Create small business opportunities
โœ” Improve sanitation standards in homes and schools
โœ” Generate income to support orphanage programs

The soap produced is used within the orphanage, sold to local communities, and supplied to nearby lodges and small businesses.
